Warming Hearts started their coat drive in 2003 and with the help of Tiokasin Ghost Horse and the fabulous listeners of WBAI we have provided thousands of Brand New items of clothing and other goods for the children on the reservations in South Dakota and Nebraska (Santee). It would not have been possible without the help of those who sent coats via internet postings, and without the help of Tiokasin Ghost Horse from WBAI's First Voices Indigenous Radio 99.5 fm in New York, and from the incredibly generous listeners of WBAI. The listeners sent such inspirational letters and awed us with the depth of their compassion through so many phone calls. We cannot thank you enough!!
