Warming Hearts has become a successful drive that started in 2004 and in the last two years (2006-07 and 2007-08) has provided more than 2000 Brand New items of clothing and other goods for the children on the reservations in South Dakota and Nebraska (Santee). It would not have been possible without the help of those who sent coats via internet postings, and without the help of Tiokasin Ghost Horse from WBAI's First Voices Indigenous Radio 99.5 fm in New York, and from the incredibly generous listeners of WBAI. The listeners sent such inspirational letters and awed us with the depth of their compassion through so many phone calls. We cannot thank you enough!!
