Warming Hearts

The Boys and Girls Club of Rosebud

Vision for the future! Keeping the land in the hands of the children…for the next seven generations, and forever!

The Rosebud Sioux Tribe has provided a building, an retired bowling alley, to be refurbished as a youth center through the Boys and Girls Club of America.  The club has been given minimal funding and has a lot to do.

Here are some ways that YOU can help provide wholesome activities for a hopeful future for the children:

See Debbie Reeses Blog: American Indian in Children’s Literature for acceptable books, movies, DVDs and Cds.

CULTURALLY APPROVED children's books, law, art, history, and novels can be ordered through our Wish List on Amazon.com. More children's books can be found at Oyate.org or contact us for more information and additional materials.

Please choose a book from the above sources, which are all tribally approved materials. Please do not send books that you may already have without calling us first. They may be considered culturally inappropriate.
